* At 1156 AM EDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a
tornado was located 8 miles south of Rio Grande, moving southeast
at 30 mph.
HAZARD...Tornado.
SOURCE...Radar indicated rotation.
IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without
shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed.
Damage to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur. Tree
damage is likely.
* This dangerous storm will be near...
Gallipolis around 1200 PM EDT.
Other locations impacted by this tornadic thunderstorm include
Southside, Gage, Green Bottom, Gallopolis Ferry, Ashton, and Crown
City.

At 1207 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from near Franklin Furnace to 7 miles east of
Foxport. Movement was southeast at 35 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and pea size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
possible.

Hill, Chesapeake, Cannonsburg, Grayson Lake State Park, Carter Caves
